My policy statement
In the Metallica Studio you have the option to hear MP3 files. You may
choose from 8 files. The two first: Four Horsemen and Disposable Heroes
are live recordings but has been recorded on a Metallica album. The other
six songs are non-Metallica songs. Therefor covers. Most ov them are live
recordings too, but some are studio-fool-arounds.
No album versions
are placed in the Studio since Metallica owns all rights to those songs,
and these songs are avalible on records that you can buy in stores. So
if I place Metallica songs here I would not only break the law, but I
would also hurt Metallicas buisness. I don´t want to hurt Metallica
in any way so I leave album recordings out.
But the other songs
are not songs that Metallica sell on records (to my knowledge) so I put
'em here.
